We work to reduce the impact of our activities on the environment.

Working directly in several producing countries, we clearly feel concerned by the environmental problems related to our activities. In order to solve the different problems, we actively take part in different projects:

The certification of our plantations in the Ivory Coast (SAO) by the Rainforest Alliance, which attests to efforts made in favour of a more sustainable production.                                               More info

Agro-forestry development, in partnership with ACDI/VOCA and the WWF, in the province of Lâm Dông in Vietnam. This project aims to diversify the sources of income of local populations by developing cocoa cultivation in the primary forest and preserving biodiversity

Touton is a member of a number of organisations - European Cocoa Association (ECA), World Cocoa Foundation (WCF), Federation of Cocoa Commerce (FCC), Common Code for Coffee Community (4C), UTZcertified, which contribute to protecting the environment.
