In the Ivory Coast,
under the Société
Agricole de l’Ouest
(SAO), subsidiary of
the group, Touton works
in partnership with the
Rainforest Alliance to
improve the living
conditions of planters
and to do away with the
need to resort to very
cheap labour provided by
children.
In Ghana, the Ghana
Cocoa Board, an official
organisation and partner
of Touton, inspects the
plantations and
implements awareness
actions for planters.
