We consider traceability as a condition for earning our customers’ trust

Traceability is information that allows a material or product to be monitored – sometimes retrospectively – throughout its entire production and distribution chain.
We work each day to optimise this traceability and

we are developing certification projects that allow us, as in the Ivory Coast, to control our products from the plantations through to customer delivery. Traceability is a condition to guarantee product quality. It also provides a way of better knowing the producers that supply us, of identifying their needs and giving them the necessary support.
 

  Cocoa

Our trading division can supply cocoa traced back to several origins.

On the strength of our experience in the Ivory Coast, we have developed methods to trace cocoa beans from the areas in which they are picked through to delivery to chocolate manufacturers. The organisation of this traceability naturally depends on the technical conditions and regulations in the countries in which we work. In Ghana, we are studying the development of a computerised system to record deliveries of bean by planters, which will provide very detailed traceability.

  Coffe

Our coffee trading centre, as a member of the Rainforest Alliance, 4C et UTZ Certified can supply certified coffees traceable by three organisations.

Also, our position and our work in the producing countries allows us to trace certain coffees directly from the source.
 

  Vanilla/Spices

Our vanilla and our spices are traced from the producing region.

A batch number shows us where the vanilla has come from and allows us to follow it to the customer.
